Texas

Ah, a twofer. Shut down power AND all the river traffic. I wonder if the conductors were damaged.

Glad the levees held.

We were discussing some of this. Building guidelines target 120 mph winds (I'm guessing here, but this is what we design to). With safety factors and design tolerances, they should be good for a bit extra. To have all 8 sets down tells me winds were well in excess of 120 mph and sustained. What a mess.

I saw weather folks posting sustained 130 several times *as it made landfall* & while crawling across the boot.

Well, this is a first!
Possum and a snake in live trap. Snake is dead (I think). Possum on top of snake.
Possum was turned loose.

I was wrong 🤨
It was not a snake. 🤔
Possums tail🙄🤪
When possum left the snake followed along behind it
Yeah...... I'm crazy
Better have another cup of coffee and find your glasses. I'll join you.

Thanks for the laugh - I was trying to figure out why the possom hadn't eaten the snake yet and what kind it was. I don't need better pictures now. :gig
