Your friendly reminder to take a look at the southern reaches of the gulf…. That tidbit from last week is gaining development & strength….

Well, Ivest 13 is now, Julia. She just hit 74mph winds as she entered the southern Caribbean. Looks like she might be headed for landfall in Panama?
ETA- Just went ashore in Nicaragua.

On 5 acres I would think you could have roosters.
I should mention that Ideal has a $30 minimum order, so you have to get at least 7 chicks.

We used Murray McMurray Hatchery. We ordered the minimum of 15 and they included a surprise chick. All arrived alive one had a crooked foot. They are probably 10 weeks old. So far I haven't noticed any signs one is a cockerel

Your local feed store might have chicks now that the extreme heat has passed. I saw some at my feed store last week.
