Well, barely even into the 'new year' and setting records. The over night low was 71°F, set an all time record for Jan 1.
The temp here today was 82°F, just a little south of me, it was 90°F. I'm not complaining, we're sunbathing while the rest of the country is trying to figure out how to stay warm!....I'm sure this will change in February!

It just started to rain here! Hope it doesn't stick around like it did last month.

Foggy the last two days. Don't mind the fog, the fanged mosquitoes are a problem.

Speaking of problems, hen went broody on the coldest day of the year. Explain that one. I thought she was keeping her feet warm.

Yes, eggs in the incubator. Checking viability since they were collected during the freeze. Spot check says 5 good so far. The maran eggs are too dark this early to tell. And I found a home for 2 pullets. Happy New Year!
