Don't forget to add all the chicks you're going to be getting from me if my incubator doesn't kill them all...That adds about another 20 something to the mix. Crazy times!!

I have had good luck with them, so far. Had my original birds over a year now and my only problem has been too many boys and some red bleed on some splash boys and a blue boy. Had a scare with my silkied hen getting caught between fences and my Marans roo's attacking her head. She's fine but stopped laying and needs to grow her head feathers back in... The smooth splash and blue pullets pictured are from my regular A's and will be going in with the silkied A's to make outcrossed splits.

Got my babies some chick grit this evening and they LOVE it! They are still young so its strictly a "eat out of my hand" treat and is the first one they actually took from my hand. The couple corn kernals i gve them before hand they would just look at until it rolled off my fingers, then the chase was on!

I love these guys! Thank yall for all the info and knocking the peak off my interest. Just was telling dw about the 3 pens i want and only just have my first 10 in the brooder! Yall have created a monster!!!

Time to go take pics! Post later!!!

I don't feed it but I think I remember seeing it at new braunfels feed store. Have you'd checked the Purina website? They use to list what dealer had what
They have a list of those who carry Purina but so far of the 3 I've been to, they don't carry it. Tractor Supply in Taylor has a spot for it but they claim they haven't had any in a good while. I had hoped to feed them organic but they waste the heck out of it and it's not that cheap to allow massive waste. And they're probably kicking out the nutritious part and going for the candy.

hmmm...maybe call Purina directly and ask them? They would.be able to look up who has it in stock. I alternate between Dumor and Purina, but I'm still on grower, but I plan to feed the all flock from Purina.
