I miss my garden!!!!

my chickens liked it better than me cause they ate everything last year!!! Soon as they figured out tomatoes were good to eat that was the last I ever got. They even ate my jalapeños and seranos

I have my garden fenced in, but I had to put another fence around all my tomato plants, everytime I picked a pretty red or even pinkish tomato, the bottom was eaten out, I even put some of those plastic owls in my garden, it scared them for about 30 minutes, I'm constantly having to go run them out of my garden.

so hows everybodies day going so far? unforutnatly i have been actually working at work today...the nerve of some people!

Started out bad and turned good! Had a scare with my oldest dog (16 yrs 9 1/2 months) but she seems fine so calling it a good rest of the day! Plus I got some pretty eggs from LittleWing! Should be a rule about having to work on a pretty day... At least make the work day shorter

I hate to say I gave up on a garden this year, after last years drought and I was putting $50 a month in water on it and getting $20 worth of vegetables I decided it wasn't a good cost conversion. So this year I decided I would just raid my parents garden! I figure they get free eggs so I should get free veggies right?

We had a great garden last year, even sold a lot of stuff at our local Farmers Market
