Parvo puppy got picked up from work today, four days ago when I first saw the dog, I thought it was not going to make it. It would hardly move, barely open it's eyes if there was a loud noise. Today she left, walking a tiny bit, still off balance, and still honestly needing treatment. Her owners had to take her tho due to lack of funds, luckily tho they took home a bag of fluids to give sub q, and they will be bringing her back for shots for vomiting. Cheaper rout than hospitalization.

Tiny little yorkie at work I cannot stand.

Yippy little thing that never shuts up. Not to offend any yorkie or small dog owners out there, but I cannot stand little dogs any more after working at the clinic. 98% of them have "big dog" syndrome and hate nail trims, bite, and have anal gland problems. =_=

Sorry. Can't help but laugh. I understand completely. Problem is that it is the way people treat their little dogs that make them such nasty little things. Dogs need to be treated like dogs, not children or they get obnoxious. People don't want to train their little dogs to act appropriately. Makes me nuts.

I know =_= we had some people come in that wanted a nail trim on their chihuahua, and we couldn't pick the dog up! It kept trying to bite us, so we used a towel to pick it up and pulled one leg out at a time to trim it's nails. The people were laughing that it was trying to bite us! The dog then, bit itself and would not let go under the towel and was screaming! The owners were still laughing, then when we went to give the dog back to them, they couldn't pick it up because it was trying to bite them, and they still laughed. I got on them. I said that they can't bring the dog back if he is going to act like that and said that they need to train their dog because they can get a fine if he bites someone and that it isn't funny.

Owners sometimes I swear....

Gotcha - let me talk to Abby. See what she has. We'll figure something out for you, if you wind up wanting the Salmon Favs.

I found someone who will incubate the eggs for me for $1 a piece! And they will give me back the eggs that did not hatch! So I know they didn't take any =) They said then can put up to 12 eggs, so let me know how many she has =)

Just sayin....
So cute =) I have to admit, I have met some nice small dogs that made me want to reconsider, but it is rare due to the dogs not being trained. I know a chihuahua personally that dosn't bark unless she needs to, and she is sweet as pie. We also get a select few clients in at work that do good two or three doxies, a handfull of chihuahuas, and a pom or two. I had a chihuahua mix when I was young that was great. He was a little yippy, but not as bad as some. He did great with nail trims, baths, but he was bad with strangers. I adopted him from the shelter tho so no tellin about his history.
