My pleasure. I'd be careful about actually calling him a Dorking, btw. There are some people who get pretty hot under the collar if the word Dorking is used anywhere except with pure breds...And, I do mean hot under the collar. It's kinda fun to watch if you enjoy tweaking people to see their reactions....Okay. I understand the colours now. I will call him my dorking dork. He didn't know he was supposed to have extra toes and different coloured legs. Lol
I'll post a pic tomorrow of his brother. He is very boxy shaped but he doesn't have such a short back. His tail isn't carried as high either.
Thank you so much for all the information. I have copy pasted it into my notes that I am keeping on different things I might need to know when I go to actually breed.
On a different note, I would like to say that I am particularly proud of myself today. I went out to bring the bigger chicks in (they still aren't allowed out over night, they are bite sized for most of our predators around here) and instead of cornering them and picking them up that way, I sat down and called them. It took a while, especially for my white easter egger, but eventually they were all in my lap. I wrapped them up in my skirt and brought them in. It was wonderful. I wish I had known they were going to cooperate that well but since I didn't, I couldn't prepare. Next time I will try for pictures.
He did .... He throws away anything official looking so that wouldn't have worked....uhm.... i thought you were gonna let him read this thread???????
