I'm new to Wyandottes but after posting pictures on the Wyandotte thread & asking, I'm told he looks like he's a Black Laced Red. I just love the Wyandotte coloring

I am. I set 30 eggs (OE, EE & mixed) today for a Christmas hatch and what ever we get this next week is going in for a NYD hatch

I have some Black Copper Marans and Cream Legbars set to hatch just before Christmas.

Those are beautiful birds!!! Did you hatch them? I am wanting to try incubating after the first of the year. I think I know what is going to be on the list of eggs.

I'm new to Wyandottes but after posting pictures on the Wyandotte thread & asking, I'm told he looks like he's a Black Laced Red. I just love the Wyandotte coloring

He is a good looking guy! We have two Gold Laced laying hens and two roos and a pullet that are 10 weeks old. We also have a few BLRW chicks about 3 weeks old.

I have some Black Copper Marans and Cream Legbars set to hatch just before Christmas.

Sounds like you have the makings of of some nice Olive Eggers. I would like to get some Legbars. I have a few Marans that I cross with an Ameraucana roo for OE. Good luck with your hatch!

I am still trying to work on the foundation breeds, so not a lot of crosses. We do have two Splash Marans X Cream Legbars eggs under a broody hen right now set to hatch the 23rd.
