Congrats! Good luck on the hatch. What kind of male chicks do the send. I have never ordered from a hatchery and have wondered what kind they send.

Here are two of the nine male chicks that were sent in my order from Ideal. They are very active and eat like little pigs. They mark the males so that you know which are the males. They are 2 weeks old.

They will be about May. I intentionally ordered a small number of pullets so that I would get some "males for warmth". Almost free food, just have to feed them out now.

I am not sure, I was hoping that someone would know. I don't think they are sex-link/production, but I could be wrong.
