How many people in Texas Thread enjoyed the rain this morning (or yesterday, depending on where you are)? Got less than an inch but it sounded worse.

We got rain, didn't check how much yet but enough to make mud.

If there is anyone up here in the Collin County area that knows anyone missing a young female coonhound, please pm me. We are close to Royce City, Wylie, Farmersville, Nevada, Lavon areas. She showed up here yesterday morning. We were trying to get loaded up to go to Georgetown when we heard a weird noise. That was my 1 eyed cat getting up on the roof. While getting him down, the coohound starts barking behind me. I about ended up on the roof myself as I had not seen her yet... The cat ended up on the roof twice and the coonhound is in my yard... Don't want to take her to the shelter but she can't stay here. If there is anyone local that can even take her while we look for her owner, please pm me.

Went out to check on the chicks this morning and noticed that my younger brooder had the light out! Apparently the storm last nite shorted one of my sockets on the porch!

After scrounging up the corde necessary to get the light back on the chicks cheered up and started pecking around again. Had me scared crapless for a few minutes...these are my 2 weekish slw and polish babies!

Am gonna keep an eye on them for a while today to make sure, but i have no idea how long the light was out. If a chick has gotten chilled, what are some symptoms/remedies?

Eggs = craigslist/farmer's market, etc. But, if you are selling eggs to consume, you must have a state issued permit.

Hatching eggs/chicks = Craigslist is very common/popular

6... 3 of each. And they are in a rubber tote so it warmed back up pretty quick

They were definately in a little chickie mass in the corner, lol. They ate acting normal now...slw are scratching in the bedding snd the polish wait around till they find something. Lol...work smarter not harder, my kinda birdies
