So i am parked on I-45 right now....how i hate the idiots that cause such accidents!! I literally want to slap everyone of them on top of their heads, take away their DL's!! Im so **** irritated right now...5 ft in the last 20 minutes!! Ugh!!!!H

My husband just came in grumblng about the same traffic situation. Said the Hardy had ground to a halt too.

In Houston on the major roads you go 70 or are like a rock in a stream. Mostly people who have to commute like the Dood to downtown everyone drives pretty reasonably. The wrecks are someone doing something totally hair-brained.

Well, we got quite a bit of rain here. It filled out empty pond, and our back yard is flooded. Also, I skid off the road in DH's truck today and the truck sunk in the mud till there was only about 10-12 inches of clearance under the truck. I had to squeeze under it in the mud to attach a chain to get towed out. *sigh* Tis what I get for not driving a lot. I don't have much experience in the 3 years I have had a DL now.

On another note, the chicken pen is flooded and so is the inside of their house... I am going to have to concrete the floor or something, the water is just leaking into it and it is just a muddy mess... Maybe I will use peagravel, then sand and just sift it or something.

Made it home. Safe and sound...yeah accident was at hardy and 45, never even saw it tho...any-who!!!

Im getting 4 BCM 8 week olds this weekend! Pretty excited about that! Got my 8 wkers all buttoned up in their small coup outside, they werent near as thrilled about that as i was, lol. Now im sitting here feeding treats to my 6 wkold polish and slw's....btw do slw grow at a slower rate? Because my polish are dwarfing them! Or i got bantams instead of LF....

The SLW mutts I got from Ideal were definitely slow growers. I have a video of them at one month and I swore there was a bantam in the mix. Now, however, they are closing in on the Australorps. So, I'd say that whoever it is that jumped Ideal's fence is probably one of the slower growing breeds....and still jumping the fence

I think i got that same roo in these fuys...lacing is non existant so far...more like a random white feather here and there. But they are small...was starting to worry cause thats not what inwas wanting outta them, but feel better now. Shall wait and see!
