I went out, today, and took a small video tour of The Hotel Eggcelsior. Mike had put up some of the roosts and finally gotten my stairs done at the back. He still has a few more roosts to put in and the ramp that will come up the side of the stairs. Plus trimming up the back wood struts that are all uneven. But, it's about 95% complete. I couldn't be happier. Come Monday, he should be picking up the wire from Montopolis Supply to do the run. That is, if he doesn't forget![]()

I <3 my keets. Just hoping we don't have issues come next mating season.
They should keep my coup free from snakes/rodents, correct

Thank you, Scout. You should submit this for coop of the week. Fantastic craftsmanship!!
Small snakes and small rats and mice, yes. They also eat ticks....go guinea.
The only concern you have is that guineas can pick on your chickens if they feel crowded....and, male guineas tend to take on roosters during mating season. There are quite a few running mixed coops on here, though. And PeepsCA is the gal to talk to if it's guinea related.
