Immunity is built by exposure to new things to the system. That's why over washing hands and anti germ hand sanitizer is actually bad. It's ok for kids to eat dirt. It's ok for them to run around barefooted. Guess what it does? Boost the immune system.

No kidding! Kids today are so pampered and so clean it's no wonder they all get sick from the slightest little thing and they are all allergic to simple things. Let them play in the dirt and mud and don't spaz about it.
