I think she might have left this thread a while back when the talk veered toward religion....????? I hope not - she certainly has a lot of good advice to give!
I must have missed that discussion. I try and follow even if I do not always have time to respond to each post.

WOW.. looks like I missed a lot.. go into the hospital for a few days (laid up a few more) and I feel like I have missed so much! Hope all is well with everyone!
 
She did mention leaving because of the talk of religion and what not but i wasnt sure if she meant the texas thread. If so, i missed thd religion talk. I sure hope she isnt leaving us. We'd be lost without her.

Hey, what causes the bulge that goes all the way around the egg that has the lines that also go around the egg. I understand that it is a weakness in the shell but what causes it and what can you do about it, if anything. I dont set any of them that I find here but I got a shipped box with over half of the eggs like that. The sellers response was only that the previous buy had a 50% hatch. Is there any way to save them from blood rings?

That is our 4 month old SLW pullet. Check out our FB page and you can see more updated pictures. I have a few really nice ones I hope to show in January if all goes well. Anything can happen between now and then but we have some that look promising.
