Good morning! I have a question.

What do you call a dirty chicken that crosses the road and then turns around and comes back?

A dirty double crosser!

Nosy question-how much are your eggs selling for? I am getting enough eggs to sell to the public again. Always have people asking so obtaining new customers is not a problem. I have been providing for my family, my. parents and two elderly ladies. One of my older ladies insists on paying. She puts 50 or 75 cents in the carton when she returns it. :). I was thinking of charging $3.

I've been giving mine away, but I have some people who insist on paying. I only ask for $2, lol, but all mine are still pullet eggs really, so everything is different shapes and sizes, so thats why i don't charge.

I have been selling mine for $2.00. We tried to sell them for $3 and nobody would buy. At least they are patient with me. I am lucky to get a dozen eggs a week right now!!!

I used to sell mine for $3, and couldn't meet the demand. So I went up to $3.50, and my buyers kept telling me I should charge more. We were up to $4 before the attack. My buyers are sad I won't have eggs for months :( Hopefully I still have them when my pullets start laying.

We got our first egg today from one of our girls. I think it is from one of the barred rocks but not sure. Any ideas?
