Texas

I think the things on the map might have been moved by accident. I accidently moved someone in Georgia so I put them back in almost the same place! It's so easy to accidently click on them and move them! My husband still needs to add us. I think I need to poke him with a cattle prod!

I don't remember seeing an edit button! Some things on the internet elude me! We got our first computer this past january for the girls; but I use it a lot for looking up recipes and for message boards!

HI all!! I have a question for you and right now it is just a "what if". My husband and I have been offered jobs in Houston, and we are considering it, but I want to bring my ladies and roos along. I see that Houston right now isnt a very chicken friendly place, but what about surrounding areas? like Katy, Cypress, Tomball.... these are places we were looking at and I couldnt find anything specifically for them. Do they have the same requirents as houston? IN which case.. based on my quick search.. doesnt look promising!!

Thanks in advance.

Molly

Hi Molly!

Others will be chiming in on their area, but check out Richmond and Rosenberg. These are SW of Houston. My DH and I live in Rosenberg and he drives 35-40 minutes to work.

Good luck on finding a place to live!

Lisa :)

I have 7 Cayuga chicks for sale if anyone is interested. They are from McMurray. I bought 10 for a better deal and I only want to keep 3. I already have 3 I bought from them a few months ago for more nutritional eggs and have enjoyed them so much that I thought I would get a few more.

These are my three I got in June. I have a hard time getting the green/blue to show good in the pics

Sorry to change the flow... what's a good wormer to pick up at TSC? We rescued two hens tonight.. would have taken the roo too (We SOO need a friendly/mature roo!) but I am pretty sure he has bumble foot and not sure if I trust myself yet to fix him! He was SOO sweet! I prob carried him around for 10 mins without him even flinching.. poor guy! One I THINK may be a BO? and the other a Copper Maran? They are underweight which I know they aren't getting enough to eat as they have only been free ranging in this drought and heat.. Poor ladies they ran right to the food and wouldn't stop! (can a chicken founder?

) Anyhow.. this was unexpected and I keep forgetting to pick up some wormer to have on hand!.. I do have SEVEN so will dust them but think they need a good worming! Sure wish I could have taken them all.. soo sweet and just looking for love! Hubby totally fell in love with them but I had to stop him at 2! lol Here are our two new hens.. happy to have a good home! The Buff is "Lady" (hubby named her) *Does she look like a BO?) And the black/copper is "Hope" as we have given her 'hope' :) ps... her legs are molting like crazy!

OK --- a total newbie here... In Austin, about 7 mi. West .... We have 8, 7 girls and a Samantha ( a Delaware) who turned out to be "Sam" instead. Ha!.. But ours all free range, are a mixed flock (cuckoo Marian's, lavender Ameracaunas, a brahma and the 2 Delawares)... I have not wormed them or given any drugs, except what's in the Coyote Creek feed). So, my ? Is whether I have to worm them? They are fabulously healthy ... Young, born in Feb. and giving eggs every day. Hate to mess with success, if it ain't broke....am I doing something wrong by not worming?
