I am going to sell some hatchery hens that were this spring's hatch. They are actively laying. Some RIR's and Leghorns. Nothing on craigslist in my area so I need some help knowing what they are worth. What do you guys think is a fair price?

Have you ever been to an auction? I was trying to remember what young layers went for.

no there are none in my area. I am knee deep in various chickens and sure would like to make some Christmas money

I bought my leghorn and PBR for 25$ from a woman in bellville for runs blue star ranch. They were vaccinated and between 17-20 weeks.

GOOD MORNING FELLOW TEXANS!!

A little damp outside this morning. Be careful driving!

I will be walking the grounds this morning when it gets light. It looks like we lost an Australorp yesterday. I had an 3 1/2 hour pre-op appointment and didn't get home til it was dark. My husband was out looking but didn't have any luck finding her. That just about kills me.

I lost one of mine Sun, too, Lisa. In broad daylight I hope yours is holed up in a tree some where
