Anyone near The Woodlands/Spring, Texas or Cypress, Texas?

There is this bulk sales meat company called Zayconfoods.com that have events in your area today. They are selling 93/7 ground beef for $3.49 lb.

Our neighbor has a lovely Delaware hen. She is very sweet - a bit vocal (loudest in the flock) - but a super friendly bird. -not mean or nasty at all.

86 - a bit too warm for me. I prefer it to max out at 86 in the summer!! (Unfortunately, it hovers between 100 - 105, here

-really love the climate in CO (front range area). -native Texan, here.......but I think the mountains call for retirement!

The people who got their birds from other sources liked them. Just the MPC birds were mean. Not sure I want to risk that.

If the mountains are calling you, look into northern Idaho. Four seasons, all pretty mild. Warms up in the summer to the 90's but cools to 50's-60's at night. Winters have snow, but nothing like the MN winters I was used to. My dad retired there for the climate. He really liked it. I liked it in the summer. Couldn't handle the winter-allergic to pine trees. People burn pine pellets to heat their home and the pines pollinate in the winter. Headache city! Still a nice area if you can handle the pine.

It's wet and 37*, very windy too - gusts to 30mph. Chance of more rain so it is cloudy. My single pane windows make it look like the house is a sauna. Come on Wednesday! 50's and sun!!!

Wish I could stay in bread today.

I am making bread. :) I started it last night so it will be ready to go into the over soon. My mom wants me to make the cranberry orange version when she is here next week. I have a lemon herb (rosemary, lemon thyme and basil) version going. No cheese in it though.

Stay warm and dry everyone! Have a blessed day. :)

My favorite bread site is thefreshloaf.com

It's like the BYC board for bread!

I have sooooo many plans for the tractor and my husband. The husband isn't real thrilled, but oh well, he is the one that said he "needed" a tractor.
