For quite a while, some predators kept invading my yard and killed our chicken. At first my partner and I suspected the coons but nothing went in the trap. After a few damages caused to the cages, we felt that the coyotes are the one. Well, this morning 1 of our dog fought with 3 coyotes and kept them out. Our dog died after the battle .. he was so brave, only 2 yrs old and had a crippled leg due to a fall when he was young. We have another smaller dog but this one is so friendly. My partner cried with the pass away of his favorite dog. I am not sure if the war with the coyotes is finally over or will get worse.

Oh no! Losing a furry friend is very hard. I am so sorry for you and your partner!

....I KNOW this will not replace your partner's dog, but I looked at the Austin Animal Shelter and found they have three German Shepherd/Mastiff mix puppies, male available. They will be LARGE dogs. Look up their characteristics and see if it is something you all may be interested in.

I am so sorry your dog died.

Call Animal Control and they can set traps for you and deal with the coyotes.

It's sunny and 60*!! A bit breezy but not bad.
I'd love to be out enjoying the day but I am in the house cleaning and putting out Christmas decorations. I have a very sore shoulder and neck today. I can hardly turn my head. No bike ride. My silly kitty is the cause. He slept on my arm/shoulder/face last night and I woke up sore. I should be able to get out tomorrow after church.

A new month starts tomorrow. Where on earth did this past year go?!?

Here is an incredible bread recipe for the Christmas season. Wow is it good!

I am done with my Christmas shopping and most of the presents are wrapped. I put up the little tree today along with a few other decorations. I am almost ready for Christmas.

I'm so sorry that you lost your dog to the coyotes. He died a hero.
