The peacocks around me make a noise pretty much every night that sounds like a cat in heat. Does not last long, not too bad, considering others have their "jam out" sessions on the weekend. Over all, I can't hear them unless I happen to be outside when they do it. Guineas also have a pretty loud call but again, can not hear them in the house. I don't have them but others around me do. They are great for a LOT of reasons. For anyone thinking of either, if you can have a rooster then you can have both of these. They both have a LOT of benefits.

The only saw I own is one of those old style hand saws.

The chickens worth $5000 a pair? Or maybe those that ugly ones that got posted the other that cost so much - the ones that look like a science experiment gone wrong.
