Oh man that bites. Sorry to hear that. They are way too proud of the "labor". Hope it works out ok.

No chickens for me this year. I'm getting hit with a $500+ repair bill for my car. Most of it is labor. :(
I'm so sorry.... that's got to be heart braking. I hate car trouble!!

They do like to have a "roof" over them so we added a shelf. If you turn them on their sides they are a little taller and you could just put a board over the top so one others poop on top. Which ever way you do it, they work great and are easy to take out a scrub. Out of all the different nest boxes we have they like the crates the best.
Yes, I was going to have them build a shelf to put them on, one row of five and then another row of five under that one. So there will be a board over the top of them. The main reason I went with these is because they will be easy to clean. LOVE IT!!

TOTALLY BUMMED!!
I have so much to get done on my coop and I can't get anything done due to having to wait on everyone else. My husband is gone for 2 weeks, my son has been busy all week, so the only other truck I can get my hands on is my mother-in-laws truck and she doesn't think I can pull "that big trailer" around all by my self.

SO, I can't get go the barn siding from my dads or all the wire I need or the posts or the wood or anything else!!! I could get a lot done all by my self if only I could get my supplies!!
THIS JUST BITES!!!

Just spoke to the dealership.  The eliminated all the easy quick things that could be wrong.  Now I get to pay to have a diagnostic done. It will take about an hour for the mechanic to look at everything (hopefully less). It could be the sensor, could be more....

This is not looking good. :(

Fingers crossed it is not expensive and a quick fix.

Here is a picture of the chicken found in South Austin a couple of days ago. I am thinking about giving it a home. I was hoping it's owner would claim it. It was given to a neighbor, but returned to the finder's home today.
Should I worry about exposing my flock to something? The original post said something about it's beak being broken. I feel bad for the poor thing.
