Does anyone know how to turn pop up blocker on in Chrome? I'm about to throw my new computer.

Found out where all the 'disappearing' chicks are going... into my 'trusted' cat Gator's belly. Apparently the pre-teens found out they can squeeze between the door and the wall. That's all fixed now. Gator was happily munching down on my six week old Buff Orpington earlier

Seriously. Death on sticks out here. .

Why use chrome, when you can use Firefox and it has pop up blocker automatically!

I see. I'm so sorry to hear about you neighbors house and can appreciate you hospitality!

He has lived here all my life. I knew him as a child and grew up with "crazy Henry" around. He is like family to me, a little strange and eccentric but family. There was no way I was not gonna do something, My sister and parents also offered to put him up, but I had an empty apartment that we just finished tearing out a room cause of termites and redoing it. In the interest of giving him some privacy, we offered him the apartment. It still needs work, the bathroom was next on the list for remodeling (not termite infested, just not happy with the shower), but its good as a temporary place to stay. He has been alone so long, I don't know if he could handle living in someone else' house.

Interesting ...mine don't roost at night either...they hang out on the limb during the day so they can look out. They huddle together on the ground at night though. I guess that will change when they get older. Not sure why they would huddle...maybe safety in numbers or mutual warmth.

Erroneous Information....Correction

For those of you who are interested in such things...there will be a total lunar eclipse next Monday and Tuesday(April14-15) night. Totality won't be until 2:45 am Tuesday morning so will have to get up before your chickens if you want to see the best part of it. The moon should be a beautiful red-orange this time. It's called a blood moon and there will be anotherr one this fall.  Just FYI.

Had the date right but the day wrong...and the time...what an airhead I am...sorry

And tomorrow (night of Wednesday 23rd) there will be a meteor shower. I'm sharing because I missed the Eclipse last week and I am not going to miss this one (and don't want you to either, in case you hadn't heard of it)

all my birds live together...the chicks sometimes don't start to roost for a while but eventually they all do...I always let them figure it out

Oh good. Thanks. I know I have to move the geese before breeding season, and I hope to move them before then, but if I can't it's good to know they will figure things out on their own.

I am going to Magnolia‎ TX‎ this coming Saturday my oldest daughter lives down there. She is having a get together for family and friends for Easter cause everyone was busy last weekend. She moved down there last year cause of her husband has a job there some where around Willis he is a welder. Will be the 1st full day I have been away from the birds. I do have it where they should be good for a week if need be. I have large feeders and waters that I don't have to fill everyday. Except for the little ones in the house but will make sure to fill them before I leave. My daughters ants us to stay the weekend but not sure I can be away from the chicks that long.

Sorry about your chicks. :)

I use ad block on all my browsers. Works great. Stops all the sidebar ads and popup windows too.
