Aawww, that is so sweet!! I love Pitties! They r my favorite breed, then EB, Mastiffs & Corgies. I've had a lot of dogs, but no Huskies. My bro-n-law has 1 & she is very sweet .

I like just about any breed except toys breeds, especially chiwowa. Those things always end up bitty because the owners are all "don't spank Precious, she is just a baby". Ugh, give the dog dignity and treat it like a dog not a baby. I stick to large breeds myself, had boxers, German shepards, rotwiellers, as a child growing up. I do like my moms pigs and sisters shitzhu, but they don't have pampered little dog syndrome. My favorite breeds are the guard dog breeds that have a bad rap, shepards, Belgians, rotts, bullies, etc. raised right they are the best dogs, protective of family without needless aggression.

I may be young in age but I'm old in mileage! Been there and done a lot, got the scars to prove it. I mainly feel old because I have a spinal injury from when I was active duty. 2 titanium rods old a couple vertebrae in my spine together, but they press on nerve bundles causing pain every time I move. But I am grateful to still be walking, after 6 months therapy to learn how again when I had my surgery at age 25. I'm 35 now, and my next vertebra is going, but I'm postponing the surgery as long as I can, riskes go way up on 2nd and 3rd surgeries. The statistics are not very nice, my risk for the 1st surgery was 10% chance of death, 30% chance of paralysis, on the 2nd surgery it climbs to 30% chance of death and 60% chance of paralysis, not odds I want to play.

Thank you both! My family has a long history of service. It seems to be something in our genes telling us this is what we should do, lol. My grandfather was air force and flew the lightning, my dad was army 101st airborne and strangely enough also has a spinal injury though he didn't get the surgery. I was Navy radar tech, my nephew was Navy submarine crew, my hubby was Navy Master At Arms. 2 of my uncles are/were San Antonio police, and 1 of their sons is a Sargent In the SAPD now. my oldest son seems inclined to join, but he is 12 soon to be 13 this summer so has time to change his mind, lol. We are proud and happy to serve.

Her mother saw it, freaked and called for bomb retrieval and was informed it was still live!

I do everyday. And my mom did some crazy things as a child. Things that make me have a near heart attack thinking of my children doing them. There idea of hitching a ride for example. They would ride their bike to the highway, wait got an 18 wheeler to drive by, then grab hold of the rear of the truck and hitch a ride all the way too and from town! My mom and her brothers were crazy and loved causing trouble. Guess that's where i get some of my attitude from lol.
