Last night after finishing my sweet outdoor run that will keeps dogs out (but not worried about keeping chickens in), we found this next to the house: He was almost 5'...gorgeous, but scary. He's dead in this photo, obviously, or I wouldn't be that close! My BF just told me he's coming home with 4-6 barn cats that someone at work is giving him...good for eating mice and keeping snakes away, but gosh darnit, not good for the chickens! Guess I need to work on fully fencing and roofing their outdoor run, now....
oh gosh!

Sorry heres the pictures

she is so beautiful and so sweet. All she wants is to cuddle next to you. You will have a great pup in the end if she pulls through all ok.

Good thing y'all got him before he got after one of your critters or you! Eat him and get your bf a new belt made lol
He brought the snake to work for some other guy to make a belt, so at least it is getting used somehow.

Now my BF - who couldn't give a hoot about the chickens - is suggesting we get Guinea Fowl. To me, the more the merrier...but now I have a whole other bird to research!

We had 8 chickens in the dog cratewith a 9th chicken trying to get in when they call came out. I think number 9 stepped on the others trying to get in cause most came out pretty upset. So I will say the result of their experiment is 8 chickens can shove themselves into 1 dog crate without too many issues. Lol.

Tell your chickens not to try this at home! :gig
Or, if you want a good laugh, give them a dog crate under a tree and see how many of your ladies try to fit in at once.
