Mine got grapes today. And I thought Daisy duck was going to choke! She swallowed sooo many grapes at once that her neck was puffed out from the grapes not being able to slide down her throat, lol. She finally managed to get them down and tried to go for more but I blocked her, didn't want her getting sick or getting a grape stuck!

Sounds like some spoiled ladies. I give my girls raisins (shriveled grapes) and they go wild!! I sit on the front porch steps, and they climb all over me. In my lap, on my legs, on my shoulders, etc. Love It!!

Sounds similar to perosis, which is what 1 of my goslings seems to have. I think it's a defiency in manganese, or choline. Give the chick a multi vitamin supplement for 3 days to a week. If the disease has progressed too far though, she won't survive. Google perosis and see if your chick looks like that. Hope this helps and you can save her.

Oh my! Glad she got them all down. We love spoiling them. I haven't done grapes yet. We do have a watermelon on the porch we got for us to eat Memorial day but it was so rainy we didn't cut it and decided to wait a couple of days til it gets warm again to give them a share.

Ok that sounds like so much crazy fun. We tried raisins but I think they were maybe too old. Mixed them with banana. They eventually ate the raisins but the banana was gone in a flash!

in Pittsburg they have a sale every monday night starts at 6 pm i think. they sell junk ,some hatching eggs, rabbits, quail , ducks , chickens, pigs , goats, horses mules some dairy calves....i go sell excess birds i hatch . plan to go next monday night

They used to have a sale similar to this at DeKalb years ago when I was a kid. I think they sold everything but the kitchen sink.

When I was a teenager, I would go to the Longview Sale Barn all the time on Thursdays. I'd ride the hoses for the buyers outside the ring. Now it's more like a junk sale. Not much tack at all.

Henless....thanks for the info on the horizontal nipples. DH found them on ebay. They're about $2 each $21 for 10...does that sound right? Seems expensive to me.

They learn quickly, don't they. All we need do is walk to the barn with any kind of plastic sack and they assume it's for them. They follow in a troop along the fence...too funny!
