Texas

Spent the majority of my life in Southern Nevada.
We retired in 2006 and built a homestead in Northern Nevada.
All our grankids are in Southern, along with our daughters.
Long story how we ended up in Texas, but this is where the journey brought us so I'm workin' on re-building!

New state, new climate, and an all new experience with a flock I reckon. :))

Well hello to all you New Texans and welcome to BYC.

David

And by the way, what part of Texas Yall located? Texas is a big state and we have people from all over.

Apologies.....thought I indicated East Texas....Wood County, Texas

Welcome neighbor! Your not that far from me. I live in Rusk county and work on the edge of Gregg/Upshur Co. in Gladewater.

Texas thread peeps, anyone have/know someone who has BBS Orp chicks? I'm wanting to get some new chicks for replacements and would love to have some Blue, Black or Splash Orps.

Had to laugh today - I went out to feed all creatures great and small and looked back to see one of my neighbors had tucked a really fancy chicken coop in behind their yard storage building (so coop can't be seen from the street) - welcome to the illicit chicken neighborhood!
