My only GP died of a heart attack a couple of months ago. Such sweet dogs....and when he "woffed" we all paid attention Yep, you're gonna need another!

My Anatolian mix is like that. He sees me with the shotgun and he is out of there in a heartbeat. Funny too, because anything else and he is right there to protect no matter the risk to him. Interesting too is that he is such a sweetheart. Loves everyone, especially older people. My 94 year old mother comes out to visit now and then and he is right by her side the entire visit. No one gets to get too close to her. He was already an adult when we got him (rescued from our Vet where he spent the first year of his life caged most of the time).

What about a refrigerator is it to cold

A small refridgerator could work, but it would need to be on it's warmest settingg and not be below 55°F. The one that has food stored in it should be below 40°F for food safety.

It is an odd thing how protective and appropriately aggressive they can be most of the time but then big scaredy cats at another. Ours are FEARLESS when it comes to anything that doesn't go BOOM. We had an Anatolian/G Pyr once but I seem to recall he was afraid of loud noises also. Your Vet had him caged all that time? I used to volunteer for the Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue. It is unreal how many Pyrs or Pyr X end up in rescue.

An Aggie that fishes, imagine that, lol. My brother was up at 3:30 this past Sat. for a tournament at Lake Austin. He lives in Blanco and is on the lake every free moment he has.
