Hey Guys, I am near Gilmer, Texas. Just starting my flock with 4 Barred Rocks and 4 NH reds. I have 2 mutts and I am about to go out and finish my fencing to add some goats.

Ooo -- were you at the show.in LA Grange yesterday? We went (to observe)... picked up a BCM pair from Beverly Robertson. Would have loved to purchase some bantams but didn't see anyone else selling.

Yes I was! Got 2nd and 3rd in my division(Creole OEGB) and there was a man in front from whom I got the pair for $50. Are y'all going to Fancy Feathers next weekend? I recommend you do, I will be showing and they always have a ton of banties for sale

I am a fan of BCM's. I have a whole coop full. I am looking forward when all the extra pullets I have start laying. So far 6 laying hens with another 18 trying to grow up.
