[/URL] I had 7 out of 8 eggs hatch! also 15 coturnix quail and it's almost 90 degrees here in East TX, in Nov. so they get outside time

so cute! I love babies. We just had 10 hatch. Thank God for Texas weather... I accidentally left one out the other night. It was still safe inside the night pen but mama and the others were shut up tight in their house. It didn't hurt the little fella at all. He was up and running around with the ducks the next morning, lol.

Okay -- for all who I have asked how many full sized eggs can a Bantam hatch -- here are results of my OEGB and two full sized eggs:




Two for two -- she was a determined little broody -- and I'm really pleased with her success.

They are so cute!!! Is mama hen an orp? What are the babies. IMO that first picture would look really good on a calendar! Congratulations to you too!
