Ideal Hatchery is fairly close.Hi everyone! I have a small urban coop in the middle of San Antonio. I bought my first 3 chicks from a feed store near my house and have been loving it ever since! I recently purchased 2 Rhode Island Red chicks from a hatchery outside of the city to add to my little flock but unfortunetely both chicks had coccione of them passed away a few days ago so new were treating the survivor for cocci with 7 days of antibiotics.
Once we get her a clean a bill of health I want to get 1 or 2 smaller chicks about 2-3 months to keep her company so the bigger chickens don't pick on her when I start incorperating them. Does anyone know a good reputable source in the San Antonio/Austin area?
