HI FELLOW TEXAN-CHICKEN-LOVERS!! Anyone live near Devine that would be interested in watching my recovering chicken? He was attacked by a raccoon a Few weeks ago.(#raccoons shoUld suffer!) I have been spoon watering/feeding him since then and I love the feeling I get when he looks into my eyes and "Says" thank you to me. I have to leave town overnight the beginning of May, and I can't back out of these plans! HELP!!

Anyone on here from North Texas/DFW area know of any livestock/animal auction taking place within an hour from Dallas?

Every month there's an auction in Killeen, Iduma Bird/Animal Sale. It's about 2hrs from the DFW metroplex. I usually post a message on the Everything Else thread.

What a beautiful looking bird! That's amazing it started crowing at 9wks, onevthat hatched last summer didn't until way past 18-20wks...where are located at?

Hi my name is Amanda and I live in east Texas around longview! I’m trying to find other chicken lovers and breeders in the area! I’m also trying to find anyone that recently went to the gilmer, tx show to see if I can hunt down a seller or if Anyone knows of a ranch in tool, cedar creek lake area that breeds tons of chickens and they have a page on Facebook...... don’t know the name I have 15 chickens of different kinds of breeds and about to expand coop so I can get more. I want certain breeds and I’m also incubating some of my eggs and neighbors eggs for the first time!! Once I get a bigger coop I will look into breeding Brahma chickens they are my favorite but I love all chickens!!!

Hey everyone!! Lytle,TX here!! About 10 miles South of San Antonio!! I was born and raised in SA!! Now I'm out in the sticks!! I'm loving it!! We have 2 sexlinks hens and a sexlink rooster, and 1 barred rocks hens. Then we hatched their babies about 6 weeks ago!! My hubby is going tomorrow to pick up 2 dozen eggs to hatch Americaunas and I'm not too sure of the other breed!! Just wanted to say hi!! So...Hi!!

Hello, I’m down here in the Very South part of San Antonio. New with baby chicks, did okay with older chickens. Of course, stray dogs, foxes, etc pretty much took out what we had. Starting over has been interesting! Long Live Texas!
