@AllenK RGV I believe she is a lucky woman!

Here DH likes to get under my skin like a parasite:he
He's the guy that says the stuff other polite men are afraid to think. Cured me of most famine behaviors.
example.
Honest question : Does this dress make me look fat?

His Answer. No Babe.( :love My reaction).
The fat makes you look fat. ( ::he)

Then out of no where we will be at the feed store and he puts an incubator in the cart. So I keep him around.

Not my Crazy Lady. :clap This one must belong to someone else. ;) Mine has only been north of the Mason-Dixon line once in her life. Seen snow about 4 times and twice those were with me. SCAREY!

@tjo804 Salutations and Welcome to the nut house! We have all kinds from acorns to walnuts. A few are more cracked than others. :lau

@AllenK RGV I stay in trouble. You should know that by now.:D

@007Sean wrapped or warped, we enjoy your contributions too!

As you can see, lots of help here and good natured ribbing. Hopefully, the rain has stopped for the week to let the marsh drain. Too much water cracks the tomatoes and the chickens are loving all the red berries they've been getting.
Stupid "smart phone" can't even auto correct right. I usually proof read before I send but didn't that time! Note to my smart phone...it's warped!!!!

The other day I thought he had turned over a new leaf! After working in the yard all day I jumped in the shower and when I got out I heard something unusual, no my ears were not playing tricks on me, AIR SUPPLY was blaring from the family room! It is the whole song no mistake. That silly man is romancing me :clap
So I put on a fresh night dress (one with no animal dirt or feces) and went out to the family room somehow expecting a scene from a romantic movie.:wee

Boom / hammer BIG OLE BELLY LAUGHING!
DH and his off spring were watching Dead Pool :he
:duc I know he is not likely to change no matter how many chick flicks I make him sit through, but :duc

He is never dull my guy. :old

I'm not really a spitter. Regardless thank you for including me in the clubhouse.
The little town, close by where I grew up, Weston, Texas...had a bunch of old men that gathered outside a mom & pop grocery store, you know the really old time stores, wooden floors, ancient hunter ceiling fans. Anyway, there was an old abandon, gutted school bus next to the store. This is were they passed the time of day.
These old men would either be playing dominos or spitting tobacco on the ground or whittling on a piece of wood.
So they got the name: Spit and whittle club!

Have any of you heard of "Bug Block" it is a parasite spray for horses says it even kills scorpions and black widow spiders.

I am wondering if I can use this in my coop?

Item Information
Bug Block contains Pyrethrins and Permethrin, the two important active ingredients essential for killing and repelling more than 70 different species of pests, including the Culex species of mosquito, known to transmit the West Nile virus. Also works on hard-to-kill threats such as scorpions and black widow spiders.

  • 40 ounce spray bottle of liquid
Active Ingredients:
Permethrin 0.20%, Pyrethrins 0.10%, N-OCTYL Bicycloheptine Dicarboximide 0.50%
Other Ingredients:
99.2%

Directions For Use:
Shake well before each use. Ready to use, no mixing necessary. Hold container upright and spray as directed. This product may be applied directly with either a soft cloth or fine mist spray.

Initial Treatment: Apply 1 to 2 ounces daily for 2 to 3 days. As infestation subsides, repeat treatment every 7 to 14 days or as prescribed by a veterinarian. Also re-apply every time animal is washed or exposed to rain.

Use As Spray: Apply to face, legs, flanks, top line and other body areas commonly attacked by flies. Do not wet horse's skin or exceed two ounces per application.

Use As Wipe-On: Brush animal to remove excess dirt or dust. Moisten but do not wet to the point of dripping a soft cloth and rub over the hair. It is best to apply by rubbing against the hair growth. Avoid using an excessive amount on your horses. Do not wet skin.
