Texas

I'll start this one.

I am in San Marcos, between Austin and San Antonio.

FYI
I have been keeping a spread sheet of Texas BYC members for several years. Right now it has 274 members on it. Of course some are no longer members or might have visited only a few times.

Texas, we are strong !
I know this post is VERY old, but I’d love to see/join the spreadsheet!

So cold fronts are good for something. My package seems to finally have been pushed south. 53F here at 4:30 AM.

Tool only if you do not have the batteries and chargers. it is useless. We have 2 mowers from them as well. Also they do have great customer service and 4 year warranties. I doubt I need their snow blower though. I really need to see if the repair shop has a spare charger/reconditioned batteries as well at a decent price or get my 2nd charger fixed at the authorized repair center. That and a Ryobi hedge trimming attachment tool would be great for the weedeater. Their chainsaw is remarkably good. I was stupid I put the last two chainsaw blades on backwards They really do not work well in that configuration. The leaf blower isn't anything I care about either.

DW just told me to order the tiller because she does most all of the plantings and wants a better way to work in soil augments. After tax was something in the 173 dollar range.

I wonder how long battery lasts. Depends how "packed" the ground is I'm sure. I have a battery weed eater I absolutely love. Walmart cheapie but it does all I need.

We got a good drenching today. Apparently, the Amazon delivery driver didn't want to get wet and left a cardboard box of electronics by the gate in the rain. Strike one.

Another driver (?) left a plastic mailer by the front door where the roof splashes onto the porch. It was sitting in a puddle also. Strike two.

Crazy Lady is having a discussion right now. Be glad they aren't delivering your electronics in the rain. :pop
My UPS driver is pretty good. I use Amazon a lot- Prime saved me over $250. in shipping last year.
My porch tends to hold water near the door. He usually puts the packages on the swing. Once I ordered something heavy and he offered to help me get it inside - pretty nice guy. I have had a couple of instances where packages were taken to the neighbor across the street. Once, they left my vitamin supplements at an abandoned house- after about 2 months, the family went to check on the house and brought the package to me. All in all, they are not nearly as bad as USPS.

Most amazon is delivered by USPS. Mail lady is very good

34°F this morning, it's 44°F now. Sunny and a breeze.

My post person is terrible. Sometimes my packages are left in his/her vehicle and not delivered, eventhough I get a conformation email that it has been delivered.
if I get large packages that won't fit in the mail box, they just toss them over my fence/gate. I get alot of lanterns delivered here, yep, I collect antique oil/kerosene lamps and lanterns...quite a few times they were damaged by the tossing. :(
