Sighs ...
We may see a very brief return of that gulf air Wednesday, with scattered showers likely throughout the day. The first big “push” of cool air arrives and moves through Thursday, likely bringing some light to moderate rain in spurts through the day. With this cold front, we will solidly return to winter, but it’s the front set to arrive in the middle of the weekend that could have us experiencing some cold we haven’t in a while.

Cold front here at5 it was 60 no coat. Foffy and still. Now wi nd 15-20 from north, coat no fog dripping rain and 56. I dont think this is the "bad" front for thu/fri; just a warmup. Its gonna get nasty
Yesterday evening it was already headed "south".... By about 8PM it was down to 36° BUT, the humidity was up to 93% winds outta the N at 10+mph. It was a "feels like 27°F at that point and the fog really hung in the air all night. At 3:30AM it was 32° & looked like a cliché London night photo-op.
"I HATE HUMID COLD" it goes straight to the bone and take far to long to regain core heat.

Here it is now with some sizable fog still. IMG_20210209_084943726~2.jpg

And here's what we get to look forward to:

So, I'm getting the coffee brewing right now.... A late start to my morning anywho...

For some reason-duh old moment-i thought you were further south. Why didn't you warn me about this???
I had some plans before it got nasty-now in outside doing have-tos

Its hard when our spouse passes. I'm sorry, I know you miss him. We keep cardinals all year and have 3-4 pairs. Right after Christmas, we lost a male, thump on the bedroom window-he was dead in flowerbed. Its said a cardinal is a loved one come to visit. If so, we get visited often. I miss my hubby, BUT I miss my son more.
God did not bless us with children- I get to dote on nieces, nephews and cousins. I know how hard it is to lose a spouse, but can not imagine the pain of losing a child. My deepest sympathy

And I was all set to start the yard routine for the year. Now I'm gonna wait til the cold snap passes. I am a little south of I 20 and Dallas, so it is predicting real cold and rain, possibly snow by the week end.
