Well, we knew it was coming for almost a week. Then the telltale rumbling and visible lightning on the horizon about an hour ago….
About 45 minutes ago…It didn’t disappoint “right outta the gate” gave a a serious gust and drop in temp in a NY Minute. Heavy sounding rain- we desperately need!

Note time on display…




A few seconds later….. blackout.

30 minutes ago….. Still out.

Called coserv 20-30 minutes ago… automated system said the outage is expected to be repaired by 6:15 CDT…. Well… it flipped on for 3-4 seconds and then right back out…..

2+ hrs later. Still twiddling thumbs.

Harker heights! (Fort hood/killeen area) My family had chickens, quails, and ducks when I was younger and I’m now finally able to have chickens for the first time as an adult
