Yes I had met someone via FB’s marketplace by accident. They are *between* You and I geographically speaking…. If I recall correctly, vaguely around Roanoke or Keller iirc (if I recall correctly) … I will search my messenger archives tonight to see if I can find that person who I got some stuff from about a year ago. It’s their neighbor who was/is still apart of some type of backyard chicken group(s) and they appearantly will do this as well as tech you to do it. I have a few Roo’s I need to process. I just haven’t reached that stage of being able and ready to deal with it yet. I’m a veteran working on ptsd stuff still.

To be honest, can't wait to move back closer to an Amish community, of the few decent groups of people left who would show me without hesitation. After getting bounced back and forth like a ping pong ball from people who can't be bothered, I'm readily packing my bags.

Got the pallets/crates. Actually, boxes 34 inch square and 2 ft deep. Looks like stapled together, but very heavy, about 70 lbs. They have a floor.

I see plenty of “wall segments” to be puzzled together with 2x4 vertical ribs for them to get screwed to!

I'd turn them on side/flip them down and build runs on to them...make little breeding coops.

I'm not in th he area effected by the frozen stuff. I'm south of Houston about 20 or minutes from the coast. So just the wet nasty stuff that makes the black gumbo stick to everything.

Just stepped outdoors to fire up my BBQ pit for my 'midnight steak' snack! The weather certainly has changed here from 75°F to 43°F at present and a 14mph wind out of the NE. No rain as of yet. Pics to follow in 15 to 20 minutes.

Oh… and get this. Our DD1 is taking her drivers test Tuesday…. During all this mess in the family van that she has been driving a lot… now that it’s finally outta the shop and has fresh tires too! They scheduled this appointment like 2 months ago as I recall.
Talk about a memorable event for her to experience! I totally believe she’ll Ace it!
