I am in Victoria, Texas. It is known as the "Crossroads" between Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi. We are hot and humid here! We also have mild winters. On Christmas 2004 we had 1 foot of snow---first ever on Christmas and more than I have seen in my 42 years!

We have moved to Kountze, TX, a place in the country for us, as my husband works in Beaumont. We have a whole acre of land, and about 40 chickens...the "Meat and Egg Combo" from McMurray. Tomorrow, I'm taking the meat ones to HOuston to get processed. I did one last week ,and that will be it for me.
I'd love to meet someone else out here that loves chickens!
