Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Which part of Texas are you from? My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas. I love Buff Orpingtons. I've raised them for years, and they are very hardy, calm and gentle, and good layers of large, brown eggs. Easter Eggers are my granddaughter's (pictured in my avatar) favorites. She loves their colored eggs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Im located in the Piney Veil...at least on the western edge.
sorry for delay in responding as I mentioned above still working on coop and now focusing on the outside run.
My old aussie has inspected every inch of the progress...shes not a dog that likes progress. Having secure the area from her and varmits . Its a mixed blessing.

You're welcome. You're quite a distance from where we grew up in northeast Texas (Blue Ridge for my wife, and Greenville for me). You have a great day as well. :eek:)
