Their dam’s name is Frannie and their sire is Vincent. I’m thinking about naming them Griffin and Raven, but I haven’t decided yet. I’m terrible with names

Meanwhile I’m trying to decide if Diamond is going into labor to figure out if I need to call off work or not

These two are from my other buck, Milo.

I love studying genetics, so I’m super excited I’ve had the perfect array of kids so far to figure out the genotypes of both bucks

Buck #1 Vincent

*Blue-eyed (heterozygous: carries one brown-eyed gene)
*Horned-disbudded (homozygous)
*Gold (with buckskin recessive)
*Carries a recessive gene for double teats


Buck #2 Milo

*Blue-eyed (heterozygous)
*Horned-disbudded (homozygous)
*Buckskin (I believe he is homozygous for buckskin, but I won’t know for sure until more kids are born)
*Moonspots
*Throws correct udders so far
