Hi everyone,
Glad I joined yesterday, just got a call early yesterday that my chicks needed to be picked up at the post office. The mail carrier's must have been really nice to the chicks because they are still happy right now! I ordered 15 Rhode Island Red , all females, 1 rare. I live in Queen Creek Az, where the temperature hits 105 so I decided to have the brooder indoors.

) Unless you ordered two individuals of different breeds, it looks like the hatchery two non-RIR packing peanuts; both of which will likely be cockerels. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at
