I think that I will. I know this is a place for lots of loved animals but without delving into my whole life story...I got the ducks when I was kind of blah about life I had an awful case of post partum anxiety that lasted a while and anxiety in general (which kept me in the house on most days) and being forced to go outside everyday caring for them really helped me through and some people don't understand because it's not your traditional pet. So thank you all for answering this and I will stay here.

I am so sorry! There are quite a few members here on BYC that no longer have flocks. You don't have to leave us! We have lots of "Social" threads you might find a home in. Cooking thread, Hobbies, Chat threads, Family threads, etc...

Either way, we do wish you the best in life no matter where you are!!

Oh, bless your heart. I'm sorry you had a rough time. I understand how hard things can be. It's so wonderful that your ducks when you had them we're able to help you. Although they are not a mainstream pet, they are sweet, silly and cute. No matter the shape or type of animal you have it's the joy they give that matters the most.

You're very welcome. I've found the members here on BYC to be so very supportive and understanding. It's such a fun forum to share and meet with like minded people.

Taking things one day at a time is a great approach. Incremental is easier to deal with rather than the whole picture.

I hope you can see your ducks, too, at some point. Give yourself time to work up the courage to see them. You'll get there.
