As if working a 12 hour shift on the largest, busiest, fullest floor of this hospital isn't long enough, now I have to see 0200 TWICE! I keep looking at the clock thinking... "Crap. It looks like it's 0030, but it's really only 2330!

Oh well, maybe with the extra hour I can actually get everything done!

It should be 0540 and not 0440.

It was throwing off our med schedules, serial cardiac markers, stat labs... Everything is all computerized, so when I went to enter my initial interview for a new patient into the computer, it looked like I did the last half first because the computer automatically flipped back an hour.

It looks like the pain reassessment was done before the pain med was given.

As a student nurse I can appreciate the complication... as a mom, I love it and wish we weren't on the same time table as you Americans... we used to set our clocks back before Halloween. My kids have been standing in the pitch black waiting for the bus to come for weeks now. I will be happy that tomorrow they can wait in the light. We live rural and it's pretty lonely and dark waiting with no street lights.
