What if you try using one of those portable chicken tractor coops?

That's what he's doing, MareeZoCool. Some people heard about his plight and BUILT him one!!!

We were hoping something good happened for him since we found this thread last week or so.

First off, thanks for your sacrifice to our country. Major & Mrs. Mark, you are angles! This is a wonderful display of all this is right in America.

If I had seen this post a week ago, I'd have driven up and helped you lose that 4".

God Bless you and God Bless America!

this is truly heartwarming!! im so glad that you were able to get help...look into your laws even though you have a tractor now... you may find out that yur building is in fact legal....then you could have TWO coops

TWICE the pain for your neighbor...

just a thought

A little payback for my nieghbor,, his nieghbor found out about the coop and had our properties surveyed. It turns the neighbor who was doing all the complaining planted his bushes on the property line,,, my chain saw fixed the problem!!!!

Ooooohhh, I bet he was ticked off!!!!!

I guess it proves the 'rubber band theory'. Sometimes it stings the other person, sometimes it breaks and stings you!

I can't have much sympathy for the neighbor that made trouble for you over a 4" technical violation. What ever happened to "live and let live"? It's not like that 4" encroachment was making his life miserable or anything. Now if he was having to listen to a barking dog all night long, or had a security light shining in his window all night...those might be valid reasons for complaints. I imagine artillery fire would be a bit disturbing too.
