Wow they are feathering in nice. I call that the ugly stage. Looks like some really good foot feathering on a few of them. CAn't wait to see how they turn out. The first two definitley white.

The first two have little tiny bits of darker coloring in the wings... I couldn't get these guys to stand still for nuthin'! I'll post more "studio" shots in a couple of weeks.

Congrats! My first 4 silkies, from my own flock (I think blue over white) are due to hatch any day now.

They are the cutest babies!​

So far they still look like pullets. Sometimes it takes a while to figure them out. They're nice looking chicks. None of mine have had those markings on the wing feathers yet. I sold 14 of my chicks Thursday and don't have any more waiting to hatch.

I'm down to only 17 now

, of which 8 are babies less than three weeks old. We'll see how long I can stand not having something in the incubator! I think BamaChicken needs to bring me some more breeding stock if she comes over my way

Tori those are so cute. 3 is for sure a pullet. I think 1 is cockerel. the other two look more like pullets now. They may all be pullets. someties it is hard to tell at that age.

Yeah... I know... I thought I only had one roo out of the previous 9, and wound up with 4.

But I agree... I think #1 is a roo. We'll see if we're right.

If you're ever up this way, will you bring me eggs, too?
