Oh heavens yes!!!!! One of my (still) close college buddies, She works for the RCMP (redacted duties) and I know with certainty that there are folks up there that be on par as the French canook's are..... Thankfully not a lot of them.

This is what I use.
Is there anything that gives the kick without making it too salty? About the time I get it spicy enough, it’s like licking a salt block.
Are you adding salt with this? I'm sure there probably are, but this is my all time favorite flavor. I put this on damn near everything.

I cook with no additional salt unless it’s bread or gravy.
Hmm. That's crazy. I mean it is pretty salty, but I don't use boat loads of it. I use too many spices to afford being able to use a crap ton of just one.

Look up sodium free creole seasoning. I'll bet there's plenty of choices.
