Thank you.
Been a busy week....but a lot for which to be thankful.
Heart monitor....again. Prepping chickens for a show.

Some lunatic set fire to our pasture on the west gravel road while winds were reaching gusts of 50 miles per hour.
Winds were blowing the flames toward our rent house and one of our stock piles of round bales of hay.
We were in Shawnee 20 minutes away when a neighbor called us. Another neighbor drove his feed truck to the nearest pasture of cows and led the cows to a pasture further from the fire.
Fortunately 3 local/surrounding fire departments with pumper trucks responded and were able to squelch the fire and stayed a while to put out hotspots in the wooded areas.
We lost about 30 acres of winter grazing.

Silver lining...won't have to mow under the many pecan trees in order to pick up the pecans. Just need to use a rake. The nuts are falling now.
I am so sorry to hear this! Thank goodness that no one was hurt, at least. I hope that whoever did this is found and gets what they deserve.
Much love and many hugs. :hugs

Too many.
But then again, they aren't on my doorstep, and the forests and weather are perfect around here, so it is acceptable.
They'd better stay off my doorstep.
