Hi! Welcome to BYC! I love Buff Orpingtons! I can't get my chickens to drink from a nipple so I have to give them fresh water every day. I just have rotating water dishes and change them out every day. When it is so cold that the water freezes during the day, I switch to small open water dishes and swap them out a few times a day. My new chicks drink out of a nipple and I'm hoping the hens will see that and learn from them. It would make life so much easier!
