I believe she will. The first time I took her to Alabama it was when Mom and Dad's garden was ready to start harvesting. Annie was helping pick peas and open one pod and was eating the peas! My Dad was like ,"what are you doing? You have to cook them first!" Annie said but they look so good I had to eat some!Absolutely right, Jackie. I grew up on a farm and we also had a "working ranch" in the Panhandle of Texas. Nothing easy at all. Our neighbors called us "The Flintstones" cause we did everything the hard, old way!
That having been said, it was the best of times, too! Annie will probably fall "in-step" with you and all the enjoyment that farm life will bring your way. Best of Luck!![]()
We worked the garden with them for two weeks before we went back to NY. Annie fell in love with the whole "picking your own supper" deal. Now, years later we can have our own "pick your own supper" in our own backyard! I am so excited to get back to my roots and sew some of my own!
