I think not being able to get away from the heat was definitely the problem for my babies. I purchased a 50 gallon tote from Walmart last night and moved them in there. Set up the red lamp in one corner and put the feeder and waterer in the middle.
The 2 survivors could not be happier!
They were a bit stressed directly after the move into the new home, but they are tweet tweeting now and soooo happy!
I put some moist grass in there from the yard this morning and when they discovered that those two could not have been more excited!
