Hi - I know it must be a lot of work to set up a website like this and I just wanted to say that I am grateful - THANK YOU. I also always appreciate the time and energy people give to helping us help our feathered friends.

Is there a way to Edit SUBJECT lines as there is in the other forum? If one makes a mistake in the Subject heading and doesn't notice till after submitting and then wants to fix......
I don't see a way to do that here. Thanks :^)

jjthink, thanks for your nice comments! Setting everything up was definitely a LOT of work... not to mention trying to convince everyone at ezBYC that I wasn't the Devil... hahaha

Really though, the credit now goes to all the wonderful members of the forum that make this such a great place to hang out! I am getting a lot of email and comments from people who aren't members of any chicken forum about how much they like this group we've got over here. You guys are what make it work, so keep it up!

Regarding editing a subject. I don't think that is something members can do, but I'll look into it. I do know that Admin and Mods can edit a subject, so if you need to edit one please let one of the mods know.

You are most welcome, and Thank you :^)

Re: the Subject heading editing, it works real easily on the "other side" - when you seek to edit there, your subject heading and content come up. Here just the content comes up. I don't know if it's an easy fix or not, not being that great a techie! If not fixable, we'll just need to get it right the first time. I wouldn't never want to bother anyone else to do it. Thanks for looking into it though-

JJ

Where this feature is most useful is when there are critical updates to the "story" as well as an often add "sold" in the BSTG threads.

examples are

help me figure out blah blah blah...pics now added
or
silkie eggs for sale in timbuktoo ~SOLD~

THANKS

Yes, the original author can now change the message title, and it works like a charm!--THANK YOU

Now Ditz- make sure you fluff those wings up nicely after you wash them. You'll be needing your halo too....if it doesn't hover anymore you can always use your devil horns to hold it up! and put that zapper away while your at it.......
